    Carlos Platard is an Art & Creative Director with 17 years of experience crafting visual narratives for global fashion houses, cultural institutions, and contemporary brands. His work explores the intersection between art direction, emotional storytelling, and the aesthetics of modern beauty — blending intuition and precision to create imagery that feels both cinematic and human. Over the years, Platard has collaborated with more than seventy international brands, including Prada, Loewe, LVMH, Calvin Klein, Comme des Garçons, Adidas, Estée Lauder, Puig, Lacoste, and Make Up Forever, as well as with editorial titles such as L’Officiel and Neo2, and cultural institutions like Roca Gallery, Cultura Inquieta, and Fundación Banco Santander. His creative world is defined by a sensitivity to light, form, and emotion — translating conceptual ideas into visual atmospheres that balance sophistication and humanity. Before focusing on global fashion projects, Platard served as Creative Director for a multi-brand fashion group, leading end-to-end creative development across campaigns, digital experiences, and brand storytelling. His direction shaped the visual identity of numerous collections and editorials, always guided by narrative depth and visual cohesion. Educated in Madrid and New York, he holds six university degrees, including studies at FIT and a Bachelor in Advertising & PR with Honours in Art Direction. He also teaches at IE Business School, where he lectures on Luxury and Fashion Content Strategy, encouraging emerging creatives to merge strategic thinking with artistic sensitivity. Having lived in Madrid, Berlin, Quito, and New York — and travelled through more than forty countries — Platard brings a distinctly global perspective to his work. His creative language is rooted in emotion, balance, and light. He believes beauty is not an ornament, but a way of revealing truth through form and intention.
