    Dione Davis

    Dione Davis (born June 23, 1987, in Fort Myers) is an American fashion stylist, creative director, and movement director based in New York City. Raised in Mobile, she trained in classical ballet at Mobile Ballet under Winthrop Corey, a protégé of Rudolf Nureyev. Her early training followed the Vaganova method before she later transitioned to instruction influenced by the technique and aesthetic developed by George Balanchine, and as a teenager and young adult she furthered her training at Joffrey Ballet School and American Ballet Theatre. She subsequently worked within a structure aligned with the Royal Academy of Dance and performed in the corps de ballet with Alabama Ballet before a hip labral tear ended her professional dance career. She relocated to New York City in 2009 and transitioned into fashion, where her work integrates her background in performance with fashion image-making. In addition to styling and creative direction, she has served as a movement director on set for editorial and commercial projects, incorporating principles of line, carriage, and controlled tension into visual narratives, and has styled and directed special projects and editorials featuring public figures in the entertainment and cultural sectors. Her work emphasizes proportion, structural discipline, and layered construction, and she has produced editorial and commercial work for international fashion and beauty publications while collaborating with brands ranging from emerging designers to luxury houses and high-end beauty companies.
