    Born in Port-au-Prince - Haiti, Frédéric Georges was introduced to painting at a very early age. As a little boy, he would notice and point out things that no one else saw. Due to his acute sense of observation, his parents enrolled him in drawing classes at the tender age of four. As a visual arts graduate from St. John’s University - NY, Frédéric has delved into various artistic disciplines, with a particular focus on photography. Photography has enabled him to intensely experience precious moments and convey profound stories through the creation of images. A swift ability to capture fleeting moments and emotions, as well as those more elusive things and situations, can be appreciated throughout his work. His personal projects, such as My Haiti and Point of View, focus on relationships, community and his Caribbean homeland. Commercially, his clients include M, Le Monde, T Magazine, The New York Times, Allure, Puma, and others. Frédéric’s photography and directing, whether his personal projects or his fashion and editorial work, share a common denominator: a meaningful connection and reverence for the people and places he photographs. Frédéric is based in Brooklyn, NY.
