Harper Smith

One of the most sought-after fashion and portrait photographers today, Harper Smith captures her subjects in a manner that celebrates their beauty, strength and vitality. Having picked up the camera later in life, she is a student of her subject first and a photographer second. This approach lends a unique perspective and composition to her imagery that is her signature. Her easy going nature and serene sets have attracted celebrity clients such as Kate Bosworth, Alexa Chung, Selena Gomez, Kendall Jenner, Bruno Mars, Jake Weary, Hilary Duff and of course, Midland, the wildly successful country band started by her husband, Cameron Duddy. Traveling between homes in Los Angeles, New York and Austin, Harper manages her wide range of clients including magazines such as W, Interview, Harper's Bazaar and Marie Claire as well as brands such as Charlotte Russe, Free People, Bass Shoes as well as numerous record labels. When she is isn't shooting, she can be found on her working farm in Austin, caring for her new baby boy and bountiful livestock.
