    Jordan Hemingway

    Jordan Hemingway is a London-based artist whose mediums are photography and film. Born in New Jersey, Jordan was a skateboarder before he started photographing his friends. It was from here that he fell in love with the medium and developed an entirely self-taught photographic process. He started printing as a young teen for the art photographer Jeanne Moutoussamy-Ashe in New York and subsequently moved to New York to pursue his career as an artist. In his 7 years in New York, his work broadened to span filmmaking, graphic design, and art direction, and he brought this wide variety of skills back into his work in film and photography. He moved to London, where he currently lives. Known for his ability to capture raw honesty and beauty, Jordan's work spans various mediums, from fine art prints to moving images, challenging conventional ideas of aesthetics and creating an ever-shifting idea of beauty and character. Fascinated by people, Jordan looks to the human for inspiration in his work. He seamlessly blends different artistic styles to create captivating imagery that explores form, color, and human expression. With his unmistakable style, he continues to push the boundaries of visual storytelling and leaves a lasting impact on the creative world.
