    Paul Frederick

    Paul Frederick is a Brooklyn-based wardrobe stylist and casting director, known for his timeless style, infectious energy, and easygoing personality. He grew up in Prince George, Virginia, planning to ride horses for a living. He majored in equestrian studies at Savannah College of Art and Design with a minor in fashion, and rode professionally before trading the barn for New York and a career in styling. In 2012 he joined the launch team of DuJour Magazine, rising from Associate Market Editor to Fashion Market Director, styling covers and shoots including Henry Cavill, Renée Zellweger, Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke, Ralph Fiennes, and Lily Collins. He went freelance in 2017 and has since built a diverse practice spanning luxury fashion brands, entertainment, and consumer brands, with work appearing in major publications. With fifteen years in the industry, Paul has a reputation for being the most prepared person on set, and the most fun. That combination earns a particular kind of trust: clients come to him for answers and creative input well beyond the wardrobe rack, and most stick around for years, bringing him back project after project. In recent years, that creative role has grown into casting, and he now shapes projects from the talent up. He's dressed actors including Edward Norton, Ralph Fiennes, Chrissy Teigen, and Dustin Hoffman, and athletes including Naomi Osaka, Alex Morgan, Jalen Brunson, and Paul Pierce. Paul lives in Brooklyn with his dog, Toby. He still rides, these days competing in amateur showjumping with his horse, Red.
