Born and raised in Brasília, Sam Porto is a model who forever changed the history of Brazilian fashion. In 2019, he broke barriers by becoming the first trans man to walk the runway at São Paulo Fashion Week, carrying the message “trans respect” on his body — a gesture that became a symbol of resistance and visibility.
Since then, Sam has established himself as one of the most important names in contemporary fashion. He has worked with international brands such as Calvin Klein, in the global campaign “Proud in My Calvins,” as well as Lacoste and Rabanne. He was photographed by the legendary Mario Testino, and has appeared on the covers and editorials of magazines like Vogue, Elle, L’Officiel, GQ, and Marie Claire.
