Send plain, unretouched digitals — front, profile and full-length — with your height and measurements; that is what a booker looks at first, not a paid portfolio. Applying to several agencies at once is normal, and an agency that is interested will invite you to a meeting or an open call before any contract is discussed.
How do you spot a fake modeling agency?
A legitimate agency earns a commission on the work it books you, so money moves from the client to the agency to you — never from you to the agency. Registration or "database" fees, compulsory paid test shoots, portfolio packages and training courses are the standard warning signs. Check the website too: 5 agencies in our directory are left out of this ranking precisely because the domain on record does not resolve, is parked, or belongs to a different business.
