Stav Strashko began modeling at 16 and gained global attention in 2013 with a groundbreaking Toyota campaign whose bold, androgynous concept was banned in several countries. That year she walked for Mugler in Tel Aviv and soon moved to Milan, where she was noticed by Nicola Formichetti, then creative director of Diesel, who became an early supporter. Stav has since worked with Diesel, Moncler, DKNY, Thom Browne, and appeared in Elle and Vogue. In 2016 she fronted Diesel’s worldwide campaign celebrating gender fluidity, followed by covers for Grazia UK and PS Magazine, and shoots for British Vogue, Teen Vogue, and LOVE.
After coming out publicly as a woman in 2017, Stav became a prominent voice for transgender rights and starred in Flawless, earning historic Best Actress nominations at both the Israeli Academy Awards and Tribeca. Today she continues to break barriers internationally in fashion, film, and LGBTQ advocacy.
