    While studying Economics at University in Italy, Alberto Zanetti was kidnapped, suddenly and unsuspectedly, by the world of photography. He abruptly abandoned his planned future in the world of finance, and made a swift turn towards the beguiling world of creative image making. Zanetti’s mentor in this move was PierPaolo Ferrari, co-founder of the influential ToiletPaper magazine who plucked Zanetti from his studies and placed him immediately as his trusted assistant. Zanetti served as Ferrari’s assistant for several years, but the young talent quickly made an imprint with his own photography and individual style. Obsessed with shooting on film, Zanetti quickly became known and sought after for his iconic portraits. He often also dabbles in the stylish twin worlds of fashion and art. Though he continues to be part of the ToiletPaper Magazine staff, Zanetti has carved out a distinguished solo career for himself, collaborating frequently with such magazines as L’Uomo Vogue, Vogue Italia, Vanity Fair It, Vogue Mexico ,GQ Mexico, Wallpaper*. He also does brand and advertising work for such companies as Agnona, Paula Cademartori, Pomellato, Fratelli Rossetti, Boglioli, ...
