    Based in New York, photographer Andrew Jacobs creates fashion imagery imbued with the powerful simplicity of colour and light. Spending his childhood in South Africa, Andrew moved to the USA as a teenager and earned a degree in journalism before choosing to pursue photography. Andrew began photographing his friends in his social group, before moving on to work for independent fashion brands. Inspired deeply by colour theory his creative process focuses on core technical components of composition, light and mood. Alongside his commissions, Andrew particularly enjoys the rewarding experience of travelling for personal work, exploring his long term interest in documentary photography.
