    Antje Peters

Antje Peters was born in West-Berlin, Germany. In 2000, she moved to The Netherlands to study Photography at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht.
After receiving her photography degree, she started to work as an artist choosing photography as her medium while also working as a commercial photographer. Antje returned to her hometown in 2015 where she is currently based.
Her work has been shown at C/O Berlin, Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, Rotterdam and materialized into various artist books sold at international art book fairs such as Off Print Paris and NYABF. Because Antje Peters loves sharing her knowledge, she taught the ‘Applied Photography’ - course at ECAL, Lausanne (CH) in 2019. Analyzing her work Antje explains: “My work as an artist takes the existing stereotype of the medium of photography as its focus. Photography of the product becomes the subject within my work itself.
Well known visual strategies of the advertising world are analyzed and broken down with an artistic approach. Art as well as commercial photography change and influence each other.” Selected Clients: Numéro Berlin, Numéro Homme Berlin, Louis Vuitton, Rimowa, Liebeskind, Farfetch, Apropos, Akoni, Sleek, TANK, PYLOT, Wallpaper, ALL-IN, L’ Officiel, AnOther, Die Dame, KaDeWe, Badland, S Magazine, Zeit, Blend, Baron, Under the Influence
