    Desiree Diaz is a celebrated American creative / art director who is winning acclaim for her innate style, which has been described as eclectic, conceptual, sexual, and subversive. Desiree’s love for photography and film began in the nineties at the age of 10, when she discovered a love and palpable taste for the aphotic arts and somber literature's . She began often to lose her self in daydream's and envisioned an alternate universe, in which she controlled her reality. She credits artist such as Nina Simone, Prince, and Tim Burton for introducing her to the world of jazz and blues, rhythm and soul and stark fantasy. After high school, Desiree studied the arts, paying specific detail to colors tone and aesthetic. After holding several positions with top fashion houses, she decided to focus full time on creative direction for publications such as L'officiel, Elle and Vogue. Desiree has said that the artists Pablo Picasso and Alejandro Jodorowsky. have greatly influenced her eye for detail. It should be noted that Desiree’s influence and interest seem to also extend past models as she has often been the pivotal figure of different operations and innovations within the world of fashion and arts. However, her style of photo making seems to remain consistent through the years – her imagery, although often controversial, does have a way of juxtaposing fashion with politics and social culture, making her a leading staple.
