    Manicurist Elisa Ferri is an industry icon who has dominated her field ever since graduating from Parson’s School of Design with a degree in Textiles. Her love of beauty lured her into what was then a boutique fold of makeup artists and manicurists working in the newly budding world of New York fashion photography. Her warm, congenial personality combined with a razor sharp focus on cutting edge color and technique have kept her at the top. A true taste maker, Elisa has the training and experience of a Creative Director; bringing to set a powerful knowledge of the art history of fashion and beauty photography thanks to experience gained through collaborations with master photographers such as Avedon, Mapplethorpe, Meisel, Demarchelier, Scavullo and Testino. Elisa is often called upon by the new guard of creatives to uplift their imagery for magazines such as Allure, Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, V and Numero. Her commercial projects with photographers such as Lachlan Bailey, Terry Tsiolis, Dusan Reljin and Mario Sorrenti have turned heads for wide range of clients such as NARS, CoverGirl, Ann Taylor, Cesare Paciotti, Anteprima, Missoni, Fendi, Michael Kors and Bergdorf Goodman to name a few. Elisa maintains a strong runway and presentation profile with clients such as Ralph Lauren, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Gucci and 3.1 Phillip Lim. Additionally, Hollywood calls upon Elisa to look after their top stars for red carpet, advertising, editorial and press events. Actresses such as Sofia Vergara, Cameron Diaz, Rose Byrne, Kate Hudson, Zoe Saldana, Lena Dunham and Tilda Swinson have all recently worked with her to add that extra spark to set off their already radiant looks. Not one to let moss grow under foot, Elisa has authored several books on nail care including Fingertips and Style on Hand and has been recognized numerous times by the nail care industry as one of it's leading experts and most influential voices. Elisa is based in New York City.
