    Federico Sorrentino

    Federico Sorrentino is a fashion photographer with a penchant for street photography. He lives between Milan and London, working mainly in Europe and the United States. After studying Set Design at the Fine Arts Academy of Bologna, he began his career as a photographic assistant while shooting his personal projects. He developed a natural sense of aesthetics, using natural light and representing his subjects in a relaxed and spontaneous attitude. His photography is strongly characterized by an attention to lines, geometries and perspectives. Human subjects blend with the surrounding environment of cities, buildings and landscapes, producing a sense of harmony between shapes and colors. He enjoys experimenting both with analogue and digital, moving from the darkroom to advanced post production. He is inspired by photographers such as Stephen Shore, Wim Wenders, Joel Meyerowitz, Garry Winogrand and William Eggleston, to name a few. His work has been featured in Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, L'Officiel, independent magazines and various others. One of his greatest passion is travel. Particularly, he has always been fascinated by the United States and one of his latest personal projects portraits the nostalgic atmosphere of the country with a contemporary aesthetic twist.
