    Creative Director at American Vogue for nearly 30 years. Top model in the 60's. Partner is top hairstylist Didier Malige. Adores cats and published 'Catwalk Cats' with Didier. (info from Grazia UK story, July 09) Became a British Vogue editor in 1969, came to NYC in 1987 to become a design director at Calvin Klein, followed by joining American Vogue in 1988, the same day that Anna Wintour, who gave her the job, started. Born and raised on Angelsey, a Welsh island. (info from i-D Magazine story, March 2009). In January 2016, stepped down from her role as Creative Director at American Vogue to become Creative Director at large to work on outside projects.
