    Jasper Abels

    Jasper Abels (Tubbergen, 1987) Photographer and visual artist who started photography at an early age. After graduating from the Royal Academy of The Hague he started working for a wide range of international customers and fashion magazines. He has a strong personal vision and explores boundaries in fashion & commercial photography, installations, collage art and film. During Jasper´s childhood, a fascination for nature was developed, the shaping of images and the love for animals, mythical fairytales and creatures arose. With his eye for detail he processes these themes in an undefined deep beauty. With combined techniques he creates unique and recognizable images; colorful, minimalist and elegant. And often cross-border, authentic and magical due to the simplicity in the quantity. His work has been published in magazines such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Mirror Mirror, Vanity Fair, ELLE and Glamor. He has also created iconic work for Dior, Schiaparelli, Chanel, Miu Miu, LÓreal and Rituals. Jasper Abels works from Paris, Milan, New York & Costa Rica and has a head office in the Netherlands for his companies JA (photography, prints, projections), ADAM + ADAM (commercial photography, scouting and management of models and creative talent).
