    Joe McKenna

    Joe McKenna is an unboxable visionary, an icon of modern fashion history. Working with the greats of photography he created the stark minimalist aesthetic of the nineties, not least in his brand-defining work with Bruce Weber for Calvin Klein. Across a career illuminated by his signature poise, elegance and simplicity, McKenna went on to shape the ongoing identities of Versace, Jil Sander and most enduringly Alaïa. Today he works at founder level to lend his vast influence and experience to selected brands, offering strategic input to help them react and evolve their identities, visuals and narratives. Joe has collaborated with the industry's most renowned photographers, including David Sims, Bruce Weber, Jamie Hawkesworth, Inez & Vinoodh & Steven Meisel.
