    Leonardo Manetti

    Born and raised in Florence, Italy, Leonardo discovered his love of hair while working at a local salon as a teenager. He began his formal training in 1986, where he, as kismet would have it, met his future business partner Marco Santini. Like many Florentines before him, he set out for a new life elsewhere and soon thereafter landed at London’s prestigious salon Alan International. After continued travel and education, Leonardo moved to New York in 1994, where he began working at the famed salon Bumble&Bumble. Between building a large clientele and educating fellow hairdressers, Leonardo cultivated a tremendously successful editorial career that can still be witnessed in countless Advertising campaigns, Editorials, and runways across the globe.
