    Leslie Kee

    Born in Singapore, graduated from School of Visual Arts. Leslie Kee is one of the most renowned fashion, art and celebrity photographer and film director in Japan, China and Asia. Leslie started his career as photographer in Tokyo from 1998-2000. He moved to New York, represented by Jed Root inc from 2001-2009. Vogue Taiwan launched the magazine, assigning Leslie as the first contributing photographer for more than 2 decades from 1998-2020. He moved back Tokyo in 2010, flew frequently between China, Paris, New York shooting for editorials, advertisement and directing music videos and fashion films. He has published more than 200 titles of “Super Magazine” series which collaborated original contents with top artist like Lady Gaga, Beyonce and fashion labels like GAP, H&M, Uniqlo, Anna Sui, Vivienne Tam, DSqaured, Giorgio Armani, Anteprima, Lacoste etc. for almost 2 decades. He also held more than 100 photo exhibitions and talkshows in different parts of the world. From 2011, Leslie flies to Paris every season with designer Yohji Yamamoto and his team, as the official film director and photographer for creating the main visuals and short films featuring both homme and femme collections of Yohji Yamamoto collections. From 2016-2020, Kee has been assigned by NHK as the official photographer and film director for a 4 years project to support Tokyo 2020 Olympic Paralympic Games, photographing 2000 portraits of sportsman and celebrities in Japan. On 9 September 2021, his first 600 pages Retrospective, a tribute to Yoko Ono and John Lennon's "Imagine" 50th anniversary, showcasing 20 years of his 560 portraiture works, has been published.
