    Maina Militza

    Maïna Militza is a makeup artist and hairdresser. As opportunities arise, she evolves in different worlds all converging towards her boundless curiosity. At a very young age, Maïna is introduced to drawing and painting and thus satisfies her creativity. A few years later, her canvases become models and artists with whom she collaborates. Many actors and actress as well as musicians are enhanced by her brushes. Maïna’s inspirations evolve with her style, always punctuated by a unique touch, influenced by music and cinema. Her creative approach transcends on fashion campaigns, movies, music videos and international creative projects. Maïna was nominated at the Quebec Cinema Awards in 2014 for best makeup and best hairstyle for the 60's movie "Chasse au Godard d'Abbittibbi", a 60's film by Éric Morin and again in 2017 for "Juste la fin du monde", a film by Xavier Dolan. She won two Canadian Screen Award for best achievement in makeup, one in 2015 for "Mommy", and one in 2017 for "Its only the end of the world", both movies by Xavier Dolan. In 2018 she worked with American rapper Tierra Whack for her 15 min. short film “Whack World”, 15 scenes to goes with her 15 songs. Few months after she was doing makeup & hair for Billy Eilish in her music video “Hostage”. Since then she worked with various international artists, directors, musicians and actress.
