    Pedro Pianto

    Pedro was born from italian parents in Barcelona, Spain. He studied at the Art Institute of Urbino. In 1983 he met the Italian hairdressers Orea Malià, and became part of the Bologna staff as a make-up artist. This experience took him to Milan, where he started working as a free-lance artist for Amica and other beauty, leather and jewelery Condè Nast Magazines. Over the next years, the collaboration will be extended to the major women’s magazines in Italy: Elle, Vanity Fair, Glamour, Amica, Grazia, Io Donna. Magazines really took Pedro all around the world. 25 years of travelling, in some of the most beautiful and adventurous places of the world: Borneo, TranSiberiana and Mongolia. These opportunities, along with his natural tension for make-up, soon gave Pedro collaborations with press campaigns and beauty videos (just to name a few for Lancome Paris sun lotions, "Tresor", "Attraction"; for Bulgari, for Fendi). Today Pedro is one of the best known and most requested artists in Italy and abroad. He is seeked by many foreign photographers who gave him the opportunity to realize many wonderful shootings for English and American Magazines. Pedro has also enjoyed a continuative collaboration with leading brands in Fashion and Beauty, whose Adv Campaignes he’s had the pleasure to work for. Pedro' selected and valued Clients include Bally, Bulgari, Bergdorf&Goodman, Bloomingdales, Brunello Cucinelli, Collistar, Caractère, Etro, Esprit, Llerac, Louis Vuitton, LeClerc, Lovable, Lancome, Macy's, Mason's, Moschino, Neiman Marcus, Nivea, Pirelli and Swarowski. Pedro has worked with many international top-talents: actors, singers and artists…too many to count! We cannot, however,forget to mention celebrities such as Barry White, Courtney Love, David Beckham, Elisa Sednaoui, Ines Sastre, Isabella Rossellini, Laetitia Casta and Stefano Accorsi. Pedro likes simple and natural things. He is passionate and kind and truly thinks 'out of the box'.
