    Philip Gay

    Born in England but having grown up between London and Paris, Philip HJ Gay became interested in photography whilst studying Film and Literature at University in London. Philip has shot for some of the most esteemed magazines all over the world, such as i-D, Vogue, Purple, Elle, GQ, Muse, Numéro Berlin, Zoo, Arena Homme +, Vogue Hommes, Interview, Bazaar and The New York Times Magazine. In 2021 Philip Began directing music videos and recently won the Cinematic Achievement Award at Thessaloniki International Short Film Festival 2025 with his first film 'Heaven To Know You'. Besides shooting portraits of actors and musicians such as Kristen Stewart, Dua Lipa, Lily-Rose Depp, Gwyneth Paltrow, Isabelle Huppert, Golshifteh Farahani, Richard Gadd, Vanessa Paradis, James Mcavoy, Sadie Sink, Joan Collins, Kristin Scott Thomas, Hugh Grant, Mark Ruffalo, Lou Doillon, MGMT, New Order and Jane Birkin –, Philip has also worked with commercial clients of the likes of Giorgio Armani, Levi's, Elizabeth Arden, Sephora, Dolce & Gabbana and Cartier among others. He currently lives and works between London and Paris.
