    Richard Fazekas

    I was sixteen when I first became interested in the fashion world, which is also when I discovered my passion for makeup artistry. Since then, my consistent enthusiasm and dedication have allowed me to gain experience across many areas of the profession. I am comfortable working in a wide range of environments, from fashion shows and photoshoots to short films, commercials, movies, and educational projects. In 2003, I earned my International Masters of Makeup Diploma, after which I spent four years working as an assistant to Bernadett Titkos, one of Hungary’s most respected makeup artists. During this time, I learned the importance of teamwork, strong communication, and professional discipline, while gaining invaluable on-set experience. Over the years, I have worked as a lead makeup artist for Max Factor Hungary and also as a beauty editor for a well-known Hungarian fashion magazine. In 2014, I was honored with the award for Best Fashion Makeup Artist in Hungary. I also spent several years as the founder, art director, and instructor of a makeup academy, where I developed strong teaching skills and learned how to effectively pass on my knowledge to the next generation. Between 2016 and 2019, I worked at New York, Milan, Paris, and London Fashion Weeks, collaborating within international teams alongside some of the most influential names in the industry, including Erin Parsons, Dick Page, Benjamin Puckey, Yadim Carranza, Gato, Lucy Bridge, Patrick Glatthaar, Lucia Pieroni, Lucia Pica, and Miranda Joyce. From 2017 to 2023, I worked in Hungary as the lead makeup artist for Maybelline New York. I relocated to Paris six years ago, where I now work as a professional freelance makeup artist, specializing in fashion shows, photoshoots, films, and self-developed campaigns, embracing all aspects of this demanding and creative profession.
