    Rokas Darulis

    Born in Siauliai, Lithuania, Rokas first picked-up his grandfather’s film camera at the age of 15, and what started with intrigue into the technical side of the device, soon developed into an obsession with taking photographs. Previously living in Chicago and Dublin, Rokas moved to London in 2009 to study a BA in Photography and develop his work further by largely focussing on portraiture, with this foundation reflecting in his work today. Upon completion of his studies, Rokas began assisting photographers such as Ben Toms, Matt Irwin & Willy Vanderperre, alongside working on personal freelance projects. Having joined Saint Luke in 2014, Rokas’ nomadic influence creates natural, beautiful and stripped down photographs of which have become his signature style. His work has appeared in How To Spend It, The Last Magazine, Vogue Russia, Harper’s Bazaar & ES Magazine, with commercial clients including Net-A-Porter, Boucheron, Harrods, ELV Denim & M.I.H Jeans. Alongside Rokas’ photographic work he has also been focusing on film projects. His debut feature length documentary ‘Rūta’ premiered in cinemas in February 2018.
