    Ryan Mitchell is a hairstylist known for a refined yet rebellious approach to shape and texture, balancing technical precision with a raw, sculptural sensibility. His work spans fashion, editorial, and advertising, with clients including Versace, Gucci, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Tom Ford, and Zara, and features in Vogue Italia, Vogue France, Self Service, Harper’s Bazaar France, and i-D. Originally from rural Australia, Mitchell began working with hair as a teenager, influenced by punk and metal culture, before training professionally at one of Sydney’s leading salons. He later moved to New York, where he spent six years assisting leading hairstylists before relocating to London to establish his independent career. He is now based between New York and Paris and represented by Streeters.
