    Shunsuke Meguro

    Shunsuke Meguro is a Japanese hair & wig artist based in London/Paris. Alongside his salon education in Japan, Shunsuke assisted a contemporary artist which is reflective in his process as a hair stylist. With art and his culture being the core of his inspirations, Shunsuke has a plethora of references and moodboards that are used as a starting point for his works. Through assembling and distmanteling, Shun uses the medium of hair and various hues of colour to form dynamic wigs. Through the course of creation Shunsuke shows his attention to detail, and ability to create styles that embody shape and texture. Encouraged by his background, he relocated to London to develop his session skills through assisting renowned hairstylists before shaping his own career within industry. Where he now works with the talent including Jordan Hemingway, Campbell Addy, Kuba Ryniewicz and David Giorgadze. For titles such as Dazed Beauty, REVUE + BEAUTÈ REVUE, Numero, i-D, and Perfect Magazine. His clients include Issey Miyake, Byredo, BY FAR, Gucci and Farfetch.
