    Yukiko Tajima

    Yukiko Tajima grew up in the popular tourist and surfing town Shonan, Japan. As a child Yukiko drew and painted comic strips before realizing her true passion for styling hair at 13 years old. After finishing high school and attending beauty school, she moved to Tokyo where she worked in a prestigious salon frequented by fashion clients, designers, models and actors. Yukiko says her creativity is inspired by nature and particularly the beautiful seasons of her hometown. “A photo shoot is just like drawing." Yukiko is now based in New York City with her two twin Himalayan cats Goma and Monchi and works for a wide range of editorial and fashion clients
