Dandara Queiroz is a Brazilian Indigenous model and multi-artist. A descendant of the Tupi-Guarani ethnicity, she began modeling at the age of 23 and has used her profession as a powerful tool to represent her ancestry and amplify important causes through her activism. She has starred in campaigns and editorials for brands such as Lancôme, Vivara and Calvin Klein, and has appeared on the covers and pages of major magazines like Vogue, Elle, L’Officiel, and Harper’s Bazaar.
Her talents go far beyond fashion — Dandara is also a singer, actress, artisan, and TV host, having appeared in several acclaimed Brazilian films and worked as both presenter and actress on Brazil’s largest television network.
Dandara, with her unique personality and radiant presence, uses her platform to represent so many people who see themselves in her. Her career symbolizes a new generation of powerful Indigenous voices — a strong message of Indigenous representation in contemporary fashion, occupying and transforming spaces that were once inaccessible.
