Daphne’s story is one of incredible resilience and transformation. With her striking Dutch and Indonesian heritage, her exotic looks were discovered on Instagram by iconic fashion photographer Ellen von Unwerth, she became a muse in the fashion world, later working with designer Rick Owens and making a triumphant return to the runway at Paris Fashion Week.

Her career was interrupted by a rare and life-threatening breast cancer diagnosis, but Daphne faced it with remarkable courage. After undergoing experimental treatments and over ten reconstructive surgeries, she made a powerful comeback. She has since starred in major campaigns for Diesel, Philipp Plein, and I.AM.Gia and appeared on the covers of Harper’s Bazaar, ELLE, Numero and Marie Claire.

A licensed dietitian and passionate advocate for breast cancer awareness, Daphne volunteers with the National Breast Cancer Foundation, sharing her story to support others. She is also a health enthusiast and biohacker, dedicated to optimizing her well-being.
