Sofia Fanego

Sofia Fanego is a scientist of the heart employing collage and movement as her medium. The Argentinian born multi-talent traverses the world with her singular persona. As a model, you can feel the complexity of her gaze which is a natural mimic to her collage art and photography. With a commitment to nature she has possessed since a child looming on her family farm; she collects fresh buds, blooms, grasses, leaves and every manner of organic material. She then creates an admixture of these elements into a form that radiates her own impulse and energy. Sofia has taken up residence in picturesque Normandie, France to raise her two young children with her husband whilst simultaneously creating a full atelier to serve as a laboratory for art and self portraiture pursuits. She recently collaborated with esteemed Japanese artist Hiroko Matsubara and revered poet Brit Parks to create the art book MONO I and II which was exhibited in Ofr. Paris and Gallery Tokyo. She has achieved international acclaim in high profile publications and international exhibitions. Sofia holds a place in diverse creative worlds yielding a rare depth to her prolific drive to create beauty.
