Veruschka

Born Vera Gottliebe Anna Grafin von Lehndorff-Steinort, into an aristocratic Prussian family in Königsberg, East Prussia, Veruschka was scouted while studying art in Florence, at 20 years old. Standing at 6’3”, blonde, with striking blue eyes and signature full lashes, she worked closely with Diana Vreeland at Vogue, to the point where she executive produced her own editorials, leading to an exploration of body painting that would become a full-fledged art book, Veruschka: Trans-Figurations, with photographer and musician Holger Trulzsch. Making appearances in movies like Blow-Up and Casino Royale, she has worked with brands like Giles and Acne Studios in the later period of her career.
