    Jaap Strijker is an Amsterdam- and Paris-based fashion photographer. He began his creative career as a professionally trained dancer, performing in theatre and television productions. Alongside his dance career, he worked as a fashion model for more than 15 years, both nationally and internationally. During his years in front of the camera, Jaap discovered his passion for photography and fashion. His experience as a model gives him a unique understanding of movement, emotion and body language, allowing him to create a genuine connection with the people he photographs. His work is defined by authentic emotion, strong composition, rich colour and a refined sense of form, resulting in images that feel both striking and timeless.
