    Luis Alberto Rodriguez

    Dominican-American Luis Alberto Rodriguez trained as a dancer throughout his childhood, graduating from LaGuardia High School before receiving a BFA from The Juilliard School and performing worldwide for fifteen years before turning to photography. Now, he continues to study the human form's movement, often using his subject's body sculpturally and abstractly. Luis is the author of monographs People of the Mud (2020) and O (2023) published by Loose Joints. Recent commercial and editorial clients include Nike-Skims, Gucci, Maison Margiela, Hood by Air, Loro Piana, Dries Van Noten, Dunhill, Armani, Prada, Byredo, Vogue, Harper's, Beauty Papers, System Magazine and D La Repubblica.
