    Marco Campos

    Growing up as an immigrant in Southern California, Marco learned to navigate two worlds from an early age. As he explored escapism and defined his path to self expression, he soon found his interest in the performing arts and in storytelling. Soon after, his curiosity led him toward the art of transformation with makeup. Upon entering the industry at the age of 19, he began his career in Los Angeles. In 2015 Marco relocated to New York and trained under Romy Soleimani, which provided the opportunity to establish himself in the industry. Since then Marco has see his work published globally (Document Journal, iD Germany), and provided the opportunity to design makeup for theatrical works presented at BAM and Carolina Performing Arts. Marco finds inspiration in current events, pop culture, and his surroundings; always trying to find a way to tell a story through the images he creates with his friends and colleagues. His understanding of various textures and his attention to detail gives Marco the unique ability to create beautiful images even in the simplest forms.
