    Ricardo Gomes

    Ricardo Gomes is photographer and director from Portugal, currently based in New York City. His work explores the worlds of music and emerging artists, capturing dynamic portraits that reflect his fascination with documenting contemporary culture. He is known for his ongoing collaboration with Madonna and his featured work includes: Patti Smith, Doja Cat, Honey Dijon, J Balvin, Ye, Arca, amongst others. His work has appeared in Vogue, Interview, Rolling Stone, and V Magazine. Ricardo released his first photographic book, Playground, with Bookmarc in 2018. A project that drew attention for his unique way of immortalizing youth through snapshots. In 2021, Ricardo made is directorial debut with Madame X, Madonna’s tour film, which was nominated for an MTV Music Video Award for Best Long Form Video. Currently he leads creative direction for Players magazine alongside Carine and Vladimir Roitfeld, bringing together sports and fashion
