After years of apprenticing and assisting some of the industry’s leading talents, Sonny began to build their own language in hair, one that balances technical precision with instinct, intuition, and a cinematic sense of storytelling. Their work often reveals a human softness within high fashion, exploring texture, movement, and natural form with an almost sculptural awareness. Collaborating closely with creative peers and visionaries such as Ethan James Green, Luis Alberto Rodriguez, Sharna Osborne, Dara Allen, Cruz Valdez, Hanna Moon, and Collier Schorr, Sonny’s artistry has been featured in American Vogue, British Vogue, D Repubblica,Vogue Italia, Harper’s Bazaar, M Le Monde, Dazed, Perfect Magazine, W, and Document Journal, among others.
