How an open call works
- No appointment. The agency posts set hours (often a weekly window); you simply walk in during that time.
- It's brief and the same for everyone. A quick look at your height and measurements, a few photos or a short chat — usually just a couple of minutes.
- Most people aren't signed on the spot. If they're interested they take your details or invite you back; a "no" is about fit, not a verdict on you.

- Open call — meet an agency, anyone welcome, no appointment.
- Go-see — a scheduled meeting your agency sends you to, to be seen for future work.
- Casting — an audition for a specific job being cast right now.
How to prepare for an open call
- Wear simple, fitted clothing (women often bring heels) and minimal makeup.
- Bring a few clean, recent photos or digitals and know your current measurements.
- Arrive within the stated window, keep it brief, and be polite — first impressions count.
